Abstract

|
A case of Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome in 23-year old female patients who had emergent operation due to intussusception associated with multiple intestinal polyps is reported. The patient was suffered from diffuse abdominal pain which were wax and wane
for
three days. Intraluminal polyps and intussusception was suggested by computed tomogram of abdomen, and she underwent operative manual reduction of intussusception, and excision of polyps in the intestine and stomach. The pathology revealed as
"Hamartomatous polyps of Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome" and so, the authors descrived the case with the recent review from the literature.
